Vision of PFDA
Punjabi Folk Dance Association is an umbrella body of cultural clubs and academies, to preserve Punjabi folk traditions and empower performers to shine with confidence and pride.

The Competition
The Giddha Cup celebrates skill, tradition and artistic excellence as teams compete with passion, grace and power-blending authenticity, coordination, and commanding stage presence.
Promoting Live Giddha
Keeping Real Giddha alive by passing on traditional steps, classical vocals and folk verses to the future generations. Culture lives through emotion and movement - not as history, But as living legacy.
The Punjabi Folk Dance Association preserves cultural heritage through respect, discipline, and learning.
Established in Brisbane, the Punjabi Folk Dance Association was founded to unite cultural clubs and academies under one banner of tradition and excellence.
Over the years, PFDA has become a cornerstone of Punjabi cultural preservation—promoting Giddha, mentoring young performers, and creating lasting platforms for artistic expression.
What began as a community initiative has grown into a respected organization dedicated to carrying forward the values, rhythm, and spirit of Punjabi folk heritage.
